A few of my favorite Adler things!
Bringing his trademark groovy style into our homes one piece at a time, Jonathan Adler has made himself a 21 st Century household name. A few of my favorite additions to the J.A collection…great for kids rooms.

Flea market storage solutions.
Crates, lockers and drawers…oh my. All of your local flea market staples.

Crates: Are you looking for some creative toy storage? Add some rollers to a crate to give it a unique look, while adding an easy way to quickly move clutter in a jiffy. No closet in your bathroom? Well, Ikea isn’t the only go to place for inexpensive storage solutions…try a more unique fix with some stacked crates from your local flea market or antique store.

Lockers: Give some old lockers a fresh coat of paint and create a retro inspired storage solution…awesome for children’s rooms. Do you have a dull area in a room that needs some, wow? Try adding some stainless steel lockers for a fun vintage look . My favorite lockers are the baskets placed on the recycled industrial shelving. They’re truly the crown and glory in the re-purposed kitchen…love it.

Drawers: Have you driven past an old dresser on the side of the road lately? Well, you might give your next drive by a closer look…it’s all about the drawers. Place a favorite fabric, wallpaper or paper on the bottom of each drawer, verticely stack away and you’ll have a beautiful one of a kind storage unit. You can also try adding some feet to a large drawer, stack the drawers in a staggered pattern, add any extra blankets/or pillows to the top drawer for padding and cover them all up with your favorite blanket to complete your bench… storage and seating all it one.
What time is it?
It’s time to go to Etsy and check out these unique and
affordable clocks….

Make every step count!
Stairs are often the forgotten element in a space, but in these examples shown below you’ll see that there is nothing forgettable about them.
These risers are a perfect and very literal way to make each step count.

Who needs color on a wall when you can go the creative route and paint your stairs like in this example.

Awhile back a I had posted an example of some beautifully stenciled stairs, but I just recently came across these wallpapered risers and loved the idea.
Have you been dreaming of your very own library and just haven’t had the space? Then this space saving staircase library might be a great idea for you.
This staircase is a such a creative way to add some much needed storage…also a great way to hide that unwanted clutter when any last minute guests pop in.

DIY roll out storage units are an easy storage fix for any stair case.

Built in open shelved stairs would give any room that modern touch…for an organized person.
The dish on dishes.
My etsy find of the week is the Hope Johnson Shop. I’ve had my eye on this shop for quite some time and I LOVE these dishes. These uniquely hand made dishes come in a variety of shapes, designs and colors. If you like to entertain or you’re looking for a great gift for that friend that has everything, then these dishes might just be the way to go. Here are a few of my faves…enjoy!
